Artificial Insemination
What Is It?
Artificial Insemination is a straightforward process, which involves artificially introducing dog semen into the vagina or cervix of a female dog who has reached the peak of ovulation, to bring about pregnancies. All semen that is collected from the stud dog is inspected before insemination to check its quality. It can then be inserted into the female dog on site by an official vet, or it is chilled or frozen, packaged in genetically approved packaging, and then shipped worldwide for insemination.
When Is It Ideal?
AI can often provide a less stressful experience for both the female and male dogs involved. It is also ideal if you live far away from Bullscaff, in Shropshire but would like to use one of our blue Staffy studs! Don't forget Bullscaff do have dogs located in kent, wales and Manchester so you can still have the full experience if that's the dog of your choice.

We can ship our blue Staffy stud's semen to your nearest Veterinary Practice able to perform AI, at 24 hours' notice. For AI shipments within the UK, we charge £130 due to the advanced, genetically approved, packaging and postage required. If you live anywhere else in the world, please contact us to find out our AI fee.
Free Second Sample
We know how disappointing it can be if your bitch does not take after you have paid a stud fee. So, we will give you a free second sample if the pregnancy is not successful the first time around.
